Heather Hopkins is a fantasy author currently working on her debut novel, Heir of Calvaris, an epic fantasy exploring identity, exile, and the hidden magic waiting beyond ordinary worlds.

Drawn to stories of lost kingdoms, reluctant heroes, and unlikely protagonists who rise to meet impossible challenges, Heather writes character-driven fantasy grounded in emotional realism and wonder. Her work blends portal fantasy, political intrigue, and coming-of-age themes, following characters who must discover who they truly are before they can change the fate of their world.

When she isn’t writing, Heather can usually be found walking along the Southern California coast, spending time with her husband and her very small and adorable dog, Louis the Furst, or creating art and cosplay. You may even spot her at the renaissance faire.

Heir of Calvaris is her debut novel and the first story set in the world of Calvaris.
